Current research on "Art x Technology" focuses on how technology can be integrated into art conservation, and how technological advancements have impacted the forms and values of art.

"Miura-ori" inspired by Japanese Origami (paper-folding)

 

Japanese origami techniques have been applied to the technology for compact storage of solar wings and facilitation of easy deployment without the need for manpower and energy to fold a large wing on space crafts.
